Journey updates - compliance to a State of Emergency or Situation of Calamity ordered by the Government.
Rede Expressos has been monitoring the evolution of the situation in the country, with the technical support of the DGS recommendations and the determinations of the Portuguese Government. The evolution of the situation in force with the decree of a Calamity Situation leads us to analyze and update our transport services as necessary, keeping our network active in order to maintain the essential role of supporting mobility in Portugal. All passengers who have tickets purchased for a suppressed service may be reimbursed or revalidated free of charge.
The evolving situation leads us to update our services as necessary, so that we can connect more and more cities and move forward with our role in mobility in Portugal.
Traveling in international lines and in order to comply with frequently updated legislation, we ask you to consult this page https://reopen.europa.eu/en before travelling.
Rede Expressos has been implementing awareness, prevention and containment measures, namely:
Raising awareness among employees for the adoption of preventive behavior;

Strong reinforcement of hygiene, cleaning and disinfection of terminals and vehicles used in the operation;
In compliance with the Council of Ministers Resolution nº 70-B/2021 of 14th June 2021, Rede Expressos will operate at full vehicle seat capacity.

Drivers will visually validate electronic tickets without picking up customers' mobile equipment.
The Customer Support Office will operate with preventive measures, carrying out minimum services in order to contain the potential for contagion, for the benefit of all, customers and employees.
Rede Expressos recommends that, in accordance with the DGS recommendations, customers adopt preventive measures so that everyone can travel in harmony:
When sneezing or coughing, cover your nose and mouth with your arm or with a tissue that should be placed immediately in the bin;
Wash your hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub;
Avoid contact with others if you have any suspicion of illness.
